Enrollment Agreement

In consideration of the Queen Academy of Real Estate herein after referred to as QARE, accepting me as a student and providing me with the instruction in real estate as agreed for one of the following programs/delivery methods: online, virtual/blended, live instruction.

I understand that QARE retains all course and student records (continuing education records for 5 years and all other attendance and scholastic records for 10 years). All transcripts/completion certificates will be distributed at the end of a course or sent via email within 5 business days of the course completion date. A fee of $15 will be charged to replace a student transcript.

I understand that if I withdraw from a course, or if I wish to discontinue attending, that I must notify QARE in writing and that the event of Registration Cancellation, all refunds will be made in accordance with the Payments/Refunds/Cancellation Policy outlined in the QARE Policies and Procedures provided. No refunds will be issued for failing a course.

I understand that it is the policy of QARE that all students, instructors, and employees shall have the opportunity to learn and work in an atmosphere and environment free from any form of harassment or retaliation and that any such forms including conduct by a student which interferes with the instructor’s ability to teach or other students’ ability to learn will not be tolerated.

I agree to hold QARE harmless from any liability as a result of my failure to successfully complete the course or from injuries sustained while in class or on the way to or from the site of the class. I understand that QARE may at its discretion reschedule classes, dates, or times due to inclement weather.

I have read and understand the QARE Policies and Procedures Manual and understand that QARE is not bound by any agreement or representation not specified herein, in writing.

I understand that QARE has the right to discontinue instruction and cancel this agreement at any time for violation of the rules outlined in the QARE Policies and Procedures Manual, for disruptive conduct during class or if I should refuse to take the instruction as scheduled, without financial reimbursement or educational credit.

A copy of QARE’s Policies and Procedures, including the cancellation policy, are provided along with this agreement. The student acknowledges that they have received a copy of Policies and Procedures, and they agree to these terms.

Student Information Disclosure

The underlying philosophy for all student information disclosure policies will be of a confidential nature of the relationship between the student and QARE.

Information about a student’s grades or attendance will not be divulged to anyone (other than PSI) without the written consent of the student.

To preserve the mutually beneficial relationship which QARE enjoys with its friends and partners, information indicating a student’s enrollment, excluding grades and attendance, will be informally and confidentially shared with its partnering brokerages, the reimbursing authorities, providing such information is not used for any purpose detrimental to the student’s own interest.  

It is understood that QARE must share the student’s information, including grades, attendance and identification information, to PSI in order to assist the student with registering for the PSI exam. The student agrees to let QARE share and upload their information to PSI so they may register for their state and national exams to attain a real estate license. If the student does not wish to forward their information to PSI, the student can request in writing not to send their information to PSI.

Payments/Refunds/Cancellation Policies

Tuition must be paid in full on or before the first day of class.

Tuition refunds will not be given except under special or unusual circumstances. Requests must be in writing and must be approved by the QARE President.

In the event school has to cancel a class before the completion of the course, student would be entitled to a full refund or be moved to the next available class.

Cancellation Policy

Thereafter no refunds shall be processed unless approved by the QARE President. Tuition refunds for special or unusual circumstances, approved by the QARE President, shall be subject to a 25% cancellation fee. No refunds will be issued for failing a course. Online only courses are non-refundable.

QARE does not refund for books or distance learning courses.

Materials/Handouts

Required textbooks are included in the price of the course.

Outlines (slides) for Real Estate Fundamentals and Real Estate Practice will be given to each student.  

Inclement Weather Policy

It is the policy of QARE to remain open during most periods of inclement weather; however, where extraordinary circumstances warrant, due to weather or other unforeseen business interruption, QARE reserves the right to cancel class. Should this occur, every effort will be made to contact students direct via email to communicate any closures.

Grading

To assure conformity in grade practices, the following guidelines apply:

Pre-License:  

70-100 – Pass

69 and below- Fail

Broker Series: Pass/Fail with 70% Required for Passing

Standard examinations are prepared for pre-license courses (salesperson and broker) by the instructor in accordance with state guidelines.

Any Post Licensing Education and Continuing Education (PLE and CE) classes will receive a certificate of completion when the course is finished.

Fundamentals and Practice Exams

Grades will not be revealed to anyone over the phone. The final grade will appear in the online student portal upon completion. Students may come into the office to review their exams. Students may take notes, but all printed/electronic exam materials must be collected before student leaves the building.

If a student comes into the office to take an exam, the student should be given a copy of the exam and a blank answer sheet. The student may complete the exam at QARE. When student is finished, school personnel will correct the exam and email a transcript/completion form to him/her.

Auditing Courses

Guarantee policy: If the student who finishes pre-licensing successfully but passes neither the state nor the national portion of the PSI at least at their second attempt, they will be able to enroll once more for free.

Non-Discrimination Policy

QARE does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, national origin, handicap, or familial status in the establishment of fees, entrance qualifications or standards for successful completion of any course. Please note that attending QARE will not obligate you to become employed with an affiliated Real Estate Broker, nor guarantee you an interview or job with an affiliated Real Estate Broker.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. It is our policy not to share your information with 3rd party vendors. Your information will solely be used for the purpose of your real estate education and preparation for your licensing exam and continuing education. Your information will only be shared with the appropriate licensing authorities and state/national examination authorities (DPOR, PSI, etc), in order to process your transcripts and personal information for licensure purposes only.
